Brand and design

A good brand knows what it’s saying and sounds the same everywhere. We bring the strategy, the visual identity and the character who will carry your brand into one language.

Scope

What we cover

We don’t start brand work by drawing a logo. We start by pinning down what the brand will say, to whom and how. Then we turn that decision into a system of logo, color, type, character and usage rules that looks the same everywhere. We designed Parisedu’s identity and mascot this way.

  • Strategy and positioning

We study your market, competitors and audience, and sum up in a single sentence why your brand is different. The tone of voice and key messages grow out of that sentence.

    • Market and competitor analysis
    • Positioning statement
    • Tone of voice and message hierarchy
    • Strategy presentation
  • Logo and identity system

We don’t design the logo on its own, but as a system that works together with color, type, icons and graphic elements. You see the same brand on a small app icon and on a large sign.

    • Primary logo and variations
    • Color palette and typefaces
    • Icons and graphic elements
    • Vector and screen files
  • Brand guidelines

We write the rules so your team, agencies and suppliers all apply the brand the same way. Right and wrong uses are shown with examples.

    • PDF brand guidelines
    • Logo usage rules
    • Color codes (HEX, RGB, CMYK)
    • Template files
  • Mascot and character

We design a character, personality included, that makes your brand likable and memorable. Poses, expressions and a 3D model are prepared for use in animation, in the app and on social media.

    • Character personality card
    • Pose and expression set
    • 2D illustrations and 3D model
    • Character usage rules
  • Packaging and print

We design packaging that stands out on the shelf at a glance, and prepare the files for the printer with the right print settings. Business cards, letterhead and catalogs follow the same language.

    • Packaging design and dielines
    • Print-ready files
    • Business cards and stationery
    • Catalog and brochure
  • Digital and campaign creative

We design how the brand looks on screens, from the app icon to campaign visuals. For social media and ad visuals, we set up templates your team can use to make more.

    • App icon and UI elements
    • Campaign visuals
    • Social media templates
    • Presentation template
  • Naming and verbal identity

We develop name options for a new brand or product and run a preliminary check on domain and usage availability. We write how the brand speaks, with a tagline, product names and tone of voice examples.

    • Preliminary domain check
    • Tagline and product names
    • Tone of voice examples

Process

How it runs

  1. Listening and research

We talk with your team and study the market and competitors. We set how the brand is seen today next to how it wants to be seen.

  2. Strategy

We write the positioning, tone of voice and key message and present them for your approval. Every design decision rests on this document.

  3. Design directions

We show two or three different visual directions with real-use examples. You pick one and we refine it together.

  4. System and guidelines

We turn the chosen direction into a complete system of color, type, icons, grid and rules, and write its guidelines.

  5. Applications and delivery

We prepare the first applications, from business cards to packaging and from social media to the app icon, and deliver all the files in an organized package.

Why Gosedu

Working with us

  • We start with strategy

A logo is a decision, not decoration. We first pin down what you’ll say, then design the visuals around that decision.

  • The character lives in the product

We designed the Parisedu mascot, from 2D to 3D, to be used on every screen and in every film of the product.

  • A system made for screens

We plan the identity for web, apps and video from day one. The same team can build your site, your film and your campaign with this system.

FAQ

Common questions

Can we get just a logo?

You can, but for a logo to work well we recommend delivering it with at least color, type and basic usage rules. We can scale the scope down or up to fit your needs.

What drives a brand project’s timeline and cost?

How deep the strategy work goes, whether you need a name, extra pieces like a mascot or packaging, and the number of first applications. After a discovery call we write out the scope piece by piece, and then we give a quote.

How many logo options will we see?

We usually present two or three different design directions and show each one with real-use examples. Instead of many random options, we work with a few strong ones grounded in strategy.

Can you refresh our existing brand?

Yes. First we separate what people recognize in the current identity from what isn’t working. We can keep the recognized elements and update the rest, or redesign the identity from scratch.

What files do we get at handover?

You get the logo as vector (AI, SVG, PDF) and screen (PNG, WebP) files, the color codes, type details, the brand guidelines and the templates we made. For trademark registration, we recommend having a trademark attorney file the application, and we prepare the files needed.
